A sombre mood has engulfed Makueni County following the death of prominent businessman and founder of Makindu Motors Ltd, Stephen Ngei, and his wife, Giannaphina Mumbua Ngei, in a tragic road accident at Masimba.
The couple reportedly lost their lives on Friday evening while travelling towards Nairobi, in an incident that has sent shockwaves across the Ukambani region and beyond.
According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred at Masimba in Makueni County. Details surrounding the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
