According to a neighbour, the cries of the wife went unanswered, as it had become customary for the couple to engage in frequent disputes.
“They fight so much with the wife. I thought he was beating his wife as usual, I’m shocked to find out he murdered her,” a neighbour stated.
A friend of the deceased noted that the two parted ways on Wednesday evening after the lady got groceries at the market and headed home to cook for her husband.
“I’m in shock, we woke up to this devastating news and I’m still processing it,” the sister stated.
The suspect is in police custody as police launch investigations into the incident.
