Morara Kebaso acquires modified Toyota Landcruiser after seeking funds for PA system
2 min readGovernment critic and lawyer Morara Kebaso has acquired a modified Toyota Landcruiser Prado TX for his civic education campaign.
Kebaso on Wednesday, September 4, shared photos of the vehicle on his social media platforms even as he asked for leads to a graphic designer to brand it.
“Graphic designers, it is your time to do the Lord’s work. We have acquired a vehicle to mount the public address system. We need a designer for branding and wrapping,” Kebaso captioned the photos.
On August 29, the lawyer asked Kenyans for leads on a vehicle with a powerful public address system mounted on it to aid his countrywide tours.
“I need a vehicle with a powerful public address system fitted on it. I need to inject civic education somewhere in the village market centres. I want to go on a delaunching tour. Who knows how we can get one or modify one?” Kebaso posed.

He later requested donations from the public to purchase the public address system, even as he affirmed that the assets would be used for civic education only.
“Dear, my sponsors, the people of Kenya. We can do a presidential sound at Sh1.2 million or a middle sound at Sh838,200. Kindly review the quoted prices and verify if they are within the market rate. For the sound system, I have already raised 325,000,” he said.
He added, “I hope more Kenyans of goodwill will continue giving. As for the vehicle to be fitted with this sound, I still don’t have one but I own an old LR Defender somewhere that doesn’t have a gearbox. I can fix that one we move forward. These assets will be used only for purposes of civic education and good governance campaign.”
The government critic gained popularity after embarking on nationwide tours to inspect government projects and reveal their condition.
