A Mombasa politician has caused tongues to wag after opting to gift his son with an expensive ride following his remarkable feat in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Said Twaha’s son is among the candidates who scored the coveted grade A.
He posted an A of 80 points. To appreciate the performance, Said offered to buy the young man a vehicle.

In a video the politician shared on his Facebook page, he was seen walking into a car yard with the son, helping him choose a ride in which left after the purchase.
“Heartiest congratulations to you, my son, Saad Bin Saeed, for scoring an A in your KCSE Exams 80/84 points. You have done both your parents and the school fraternity so proud. I am buying you the KSh 5 million car in shaa Allah. That’s what you want and that’s what you will get. Well deserved…I love you so much my son,” he posted.
