In a notice on Thursday, the Telco said all shops, save for JKIA one will be closed.
Safaricom said the closure is due to unavoidable circumstances.
The company said the closure will enable the company to carry out some internal processes.

“Kindly note that all Shops in Nairobi, excluding JKIA, will remain closed on Friday 6, October 2023. Normal services will resume on Saturday, October 7, 2023,” the Telco said in a notice.
“For further assistance ask Zuri, call customer care, or visit your nearest Safaricom dealer.”
Kenyans in need of Safaricom service have been asked to seek further assistance from Zuri, the customer care call number, and the nearest Safaricom dealer.
The telecommunication company further apologized for any inconvenience caused by the move.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the telco stated.
