Murang’a residents left in shock after a woman is allegedly stabs her husband in a suspected love triangle.
Police have launched investigations after a woman killed her husband in a suspected love triangle in Mukuyu village, Kiharu sub-county.
According to reports, the wife quarrelled with her husband over a mysterious woman before she stabbed him to death.
The husband allegedly left his wife and their daughter in the house as he went shopping at the market.
While he was away, another woman came to the house and asked about his whereabouts.
The mysterious woman allegedly introduced herself as the girlfriend of the victim, something that angered the suspect.
When the husband returned, the wife confronted him about the other woman, but he denied knowing her.

During the heated argument, the wife allegedly reached for a kitchen knife and stabbed him before locking herself in the bedroom.
The neighbors heard screams as the couple’s six-year-old daughter found her father in a pool of blood.
When neighbours arrived at the house, they found the man dead and the woman locked herself in the bedroom.
The villagers reported the case to police officers at Murang’a Police Station where the wife was arrested pending further investigations.
The body of the husband was moved to Murang’a Level 5 Hospital for a postmortem.
