The case challenging the JKIA-Adani deal was on Monday, November 11 postponed to a later date.
As revealed by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the case, which was set to be heard today, was pushed to November 27.
It was explained that the petition was adjourned given that the judge handling the matter was away.
“The court sitting today has been pushed to November 27. There was a virtual sitting on the other matter filed by the LSK and the representative of the civil workers union,” he announced.
“We will return to the Milimani High Court Nairobi on November 27, 2024.”
Meanwhile, he maintained the petitioners were keen on halting the government from signing the deal with the Indian company.

Kalonzo explained that the deal raises more questions than answers given the secrecy of the agreement and the involvement of Adani in other government programmes.
“We have said this before: that we have no problem with investors coming into the country. However, the way this Adani deal has been crafted has all the trappings of what one would call state capture,” the former VP expressed.
“Look at Adani in JKIA. Adani in SHA/SHIF. Adani in KETRACO. All these deals are clouded in secrecy.”
On his part, Azimio principal Eugene Wamalwa maintained that the conservatory orders blocking the government from implementing the deal remain in place despite the case being pushed.
