Uhuru Kenyatta graces Kalonzo’s daughter wedding ceremony
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, December 7, 2024, attended a colourful wedding in Naivasha where Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s daughter walked down the aisle.
The former president graced the event while donning his white signature fedora hat and a blue traditional shirt.
In a statement, Kalonzo appreciated Uhuru for attending the high-profile event, which was held in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, and Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo were also present.
Kalonzo’s daughter Damarie Saada wedded the love of her life, Martin Nyaga.
“I thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for his friendship and solidarity with my family by attending the wedding ceremony of our daughter Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga this afternoon in Naivasha,” Kalonzo’s statement read in part.
Damarie Saada held her father’s hand as she walked down the aisle ready to exchange vows with Nyaga. Kalonzo donned a well-fitting black suit while her daughter wore a white wedding gown.
In his message to the couple, Kalonzo wished them blessings in their union.
“On behalf of my family, I give my full blessings to this wonderful couple Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga,” Kalonzo’s message read in part.

“Remember God and let him be in the centre of your marriage. Keep close the words of Proverbs 24:3-4: By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge, its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures,” Kalonzo added.
In June 2024, the two held another colourful nuptial in Yatta, Machakos County, which was graced by politicians, including governors and members of parliament.
Others included Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, and Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu Muthama.
The bride and groom were dressed in traditional orange and brown attire, standing out from the rest of the party guests. Saada donned an orange gown decorated in Kitenge patterns while the groom was clad in a brown suit with a similar Kitenge print on the shirt.
