In a notice on Tuesday, September 17, PSC disclosed that there are 40 vacant ICT officer posts in the state department for ICT and digital economy.

The commission disclosed that the details of the vacancies can be accessed through the PSC website, i.e., www.publicservice.go.ke.

“The details of the post and mode of application can be accessed on the commission’s website,” read part of the notice by PSC.

However, the commission stated that interested candidates are required to make their applications online through the PSC website.

The deadline for the application is October 8, 2024.

“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke so as to reach the commission on or before 8th October, 2024 (latest 5 p.m. East African Time),” PSC stated.

This comes after the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority announced 400 internship opportunities under the Digital Talent Internship Programme (PDTP).

In a notice on Tuesday, August 27, the authority disclosed that the government was looking for young, talented Kenyans with a passion for ICT and public service.

“The objective of the programme is to develop and prepare young ICT graduates to take up employment and entrepreneurship opportunities that come up in the ICT as well as other sectors,” part of the notice read.

Interested candidates were required to complete the online application form via https://digitalent.go.ke/ and attach relevant documents as indicated in the form.
