President William Ruto has nominated 11 cabinet secretaries for his government

President William Ruto has nominated 11 cabinet secretaries for his government.

Speaking on Friday, July 19 at State House Nairobi, President Ruto forwarded the 11 nominees to the National Assembly for consideration and approval. 

“I nominate the following first batch of 11 individuals for consideration and approval by the National Assembly for appointment as Cabinet Secretaries and Attorney General,” said President Ruto. 

The nomination comes weeks after the President sacked his entire cabinet save from Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

Andrew Muhia  Karanja – Agriculture 

Aden Duale – Defence

Soipan Tuya – Environment

Davis Chirchir -Roads

Margaret Nyambura – ICT

Eric Murithi Muga – Water 

Rebecca Miano -Attorney General
